We haven't had a definitive update from Forward Email or Microsoft but email seems to be getting through reliably again as of the last few hours. We will continue to monitor.

This appears to be associated with an ongoing worldwide Exchange Online incident tracked as EX1467029 and affecting many customers, and has started to be reported in the press (e.g. Cyber Security News).

We are aware that email forwarded from @cl.cam.ac.uk and @cst.cam.ac.uk addresses to Exchange Online (e.g. @cam.ac.uk addresses) is currently experiencing long delays.

We believe that this is due to Microsoft misidentifying our email forwarding platform as a source of spam. We have contacted the operator of that platform to see what they can do about this.

No email is being lost at present (except spam), but it may be delayed by several hours. Mail sent directly to @cam.ac.uk addresses seems to be unaffected.
