We will upgrade the software on our 1Gbps network infrastructure in the West Cambridge Data Centre, in order to rectify a known urgent issue and to maintain the security and reliability of the network. This is expected to cause around 15-30 minutes' outage affecting physical servers in the department's racks in the West Cambridge Data Centre (except those with 10Gbps connections).
It will not affect virtual servers on departmental infrastructure, or storage servers (filer etc.).
