UIS has declared that temperatures in the West Cambridge Data Centre, where we house much of our departmental infrastructure, have exceeded maximum set points due to the extreme weather. With temperatures still rising, there is a chance that servers (departmental or University-wide) may have to be shut down or may start to malfunction.
